Cedevita Olimpija Ljubljana bolstered its frontcourt by inking power forward Jan Kosi to a two-year deal on Thursday. Kosi (2.04 meters, 25 years old) arrives from Krka Novo Mesto, where he averaged 7.4 points and 4.3 rebounds in 19 Adriatic League games last season. He started his career with Elektra Sostanj and also played for Sixt Primorska before joining Krka in 2020. Kosi helped Primorska win the Slovenian League title in 2019 and lifted the Slovenian Cup trophy four consecutive times - with Primorska in 2018 and 2019, and with Krka in 2020 and 2021. He has also been a member of the Slovenian national team.

Kosi is set to make his 7DAYS EuroCup debut with Cedevita next season. "I am truly happy to have joined Cedevita Olimpija. It is a club with rich history and the organization is excellent," Kosi said after the agreement. "I cannot wait to get together with my teammates and for the new season to begin and at the same time I am looking forward to playing in front of these fantastic fans."
