Although both teams have evolved since their Round 1 matchup, which was the closest game in the opening set of fixtures, they come into this contest after experiencing contrasting form prior to the two-week break in the EuroCup calendar. Reyer lost back-to-back games, having previously going on a five-game winning streak, whereas Ulm won two games in succession to enter the festive period on a high.

In Round 1 against his former team, he finished with 9 points, 2 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal and 3 turnovers, so he will be eager to put things right this time around.
