Germani Brescia set a new club scoring record as it blew away Frutti Extra Bursaspor 110-74 at home and revived its hopes of reaching the competition’s knockout stages. The result lifted Brescia into eighth place in Group A with a 4-5 record, while Bursaspor dropped to 5-4. It was the second successive win for Brescia after four consecutive defeats and all 12 of its players scored at least 5 points in what was surely its best performance of the season.

CJ Massinburg led the way for the home side with 18 points, David Cournooh added 15, Kenny Gabriel chipped in with 12 and Amedeo Della Valle netted 10. Zach Auguste was a beacon of light for Bursaspor with a game-high 22 points, Ahmet Duverioglu scored 14, Onuralp Bitim netted 12, while David Dudzinski and Anthony Clemmons scored 11 each. Brescia surpassed its previous record tally of 104 points, which it scored in Round 2 this season, delighting their fans with a truly magnificent display.
Brescia took an early 5-0 lead before Bursaspor responded with an 18-6 run in the first quarter, but that turned out to be its brightest spell in the one-sided contest. The home side quickly regained its composure and was 25-22 up at the end of the first quarter, shooting 9-of-14 from the floor, while Auguste was on song at the other end with 9 points.
Brescia followed up with a flurry of three-pointers in the second quarter to take a 51-43 halftime lead, shooting 7-of-11 from long range as Cournooh racked up 12 points, with Tai Odiase and Mike Cobbins getting the crowd on their feet with a pair of spectacular slam-dunks.

The third quarter served up more one-way traffic as Brescia stifled the visitors with aggressive defense while scoring almost at will at the other end of the court. It was a superb team effort from the home side as it shared the ball selflessly and headed into the final period with an 82-59 advantage.
Bursaspor briefly revived its hopes of staging a comeback when a 7-0 run cut the gap to 87-68 early in the fourth quarter, but that turned out to be the visitors’ last roar. Brescia replied with a 23-4 streak as the three-pointers rained in from all angles, with Odiase garnishing the victory with another spectacular slam-dunk.
