In the teams' last 7DAYS EuroCup game in 2022, Prometey Slobozhanske recorded its second road victory in Group A by downing Umana Reyer Venice 71-75 at Palasport Taliercio on Wednesday night. Prometey improved to 5-4 in Group A led by Ondrej Balvin with 18 points and 8 rebounds. D.J. Kennedy added 15 points while Caleb Agada and D.J. Stephens each had 13 for Prometey. Stephens added 10 rebounds for a double-double. Jeff Brooks had 13 for Reyer, which dropped to 5-4 in the standings and saw its four-game home winning streak come to an end. Allerik Freeman added 11 for the hosts.

Marco Spissu and Riccardo Moraschini combined for 8 points in a 12-3 opening run. Prometey found a go-to guy in Balvin, who got help from Gian Clavell and Kennedy to keep the guests within 19-14 after 10 minutes. Freeman stepped up for Reyer, getting 6 quick points to give his team fresh air at 31-22. Kennedy and Dustin Hogue kept Prometey closer, 36-30, at the break.
Balvin scored twice in the paint and then Caleb Agada and Kennedy fueled a 0-13 run that completed the guests' comeback, 40-50. Brooks and Freeman gave Reyer hope, 49-54, after 30 minutes. Andrea De Nicolao and Mitchell Watt each found their first points to make it 56-58. Balvin and Agada led a 0-9 run that boosted the guests' lead to 60-71 with 3 minutes remaining. Spissu, De Nicolao and Brooks got Reyer within 71-72 with 21.6 seconds left. Stephens hit free throws and Brooks missed a step-back triple seconds before the final buzzer.
