Matteo Spagnolo set a career-high with 15 points as the top scorer for Trento, which dropped to 0-5 in the group with its 17th straight loss in the competition dating back to last season.

U-BT Cluj-Napoca returned to the winning path by downing Germani Brescia 91-86 at home in Group A to snap a two-game losing streak. Cluj improved to 2-3 in the standings. Karel Guzman and Leo Meindl led the winners with 15 points apiece. Amedeo Della Valle had 16 points for Brescia, which dropped to 2-3 after losing its last two games.
Paris Basketball has maintained its 100% record on the road on Wednesday night after downing Buducnost VOLI Podgorica at Moraca Sports Center, ending the hosts' three-game winning run in the progress. Joventut Badalona was able to exact some revenge on ratiopharm Ulm for last season's playoff defeat by grabbing a road win in Germany. This win moves Joventut up to a joint-best 4-1 in Group A, and the star of the show was Simon Birgander, who had an 11-point, 10-rebound double-double, as well as 5 blocks.

The two best offenses in the EuroCup heading into Round 5 came head-to-head, and it was certainly a very entertaining game on that end of the floor.
