Gran Canaria romped into the finals with a dramatic 72-76 win at Bahcesehir in Game 3 to win their semifinal series 2-1. It will be the third time Granca has reached the EuroCup finals, having won the competition in 2023 and finished as the runner-up in 2015. Caleb Homesley paced Gran Canaria on 19 points and the versatile guard hit a clutch three late in the game that gave the visiting team the lead for good. At the other end, Jaleen Smith led Bahcesehir with a game-high 22 points but missed some shots when the chips were down, including a tough floater on his team’s final possession.
Valencia Basket 92-94 Hapoel Shlomo Tel Aviv
Hapoel advanced to the EuroCup Finals for the first time in club history by edging Valencia in Game 3. Valencia led by as many as 13 points in the second quarter, Hapoel rallied to get within 1 at halftime. The visitors rode the hot hand of Antonio Blakeney to a 9-point advantage in the fourth quarter only to see Valencia come back to tie things. Marcus Foster had the last word with the game-winning jumper with 3.1 seconds remaining. Blakeney finished with 32 points and 9 rebounds and Marcus Foster added 22 points. Brancou Badio led Valencia with 20 points.
