After outdueling host Valencia Basket in their semifinal on Wednesday, Virtus Segafredo Bologna is going to the 7DAYS EuroCup Finals for the first time! Virtus will host Frutti Extra Bursaspor in the winner-take-all final next Wednesday, May 11, with the winner earning the right to play in next season's Turkish Airlines EuroLeague.

Virtus became the first Italian team to reach the finals by downing host Valencia 73-83 in front of a sellout crowd at La Fonteta. Marco Belinelli and Tornike Shengelia fueled an 1-14 first-quarter take-over run that led to a 38-50 halftime lead. Valencia rallied to within 63-66 early in the final quarter, but Virtus reeled off the next 8 points to put the game out of reach. Shengelia finished with 15 points to lead Virtus, while Belinelli had 14 and Milos Teodosic 12. Jasiel Rivero led Valencia with 17.
