Hamburg lands forward Justin Edler-Davis

Veolia Towers Hamburg strengthened its roster by signing forward Justin Edler-Davis through the end of the 2026-27 season, the club announced Tuesday.
Edler-Davis (1.93 meters, 27 years old) arrives from CSO Voluntari, where he averaged 14.0 points on excellent shooting (48.2% 3FG, 91.6% FT) and 5.5 rebounds in 44 Romanian League games last season. He helped Voluntari win the Romanian Cup and the European North Basketball League (ENBL) titles.
Edler-Davis played college basketball at California State University Bakersfield, started his professional career with SC Lusitania Expert of Portugal. He also played for KB Peja of Kosovo before joining Voluntari. Edler-Davis is expected to make his BKT EuroCup with Hamburg next season.
"Justin has steadily developed over the past few years and has persevered in his path. He took his game to a new level last season and greatly improved his long-range shooting," Hamburg coach Benka Barloschky said. "One constant is his rebounding. He's a player who defines himself by being the best rebounder on the court. That mentality will help us."
