Hapoel Tel Aviv has added to its roster by signing Travis Warech for the upcoming season, the club confirmed on Thursday. Warech (1.93 meters, 31 years old) joins from Hapoel Be'er Sheva, where he averaged 5.5 points and 3.1 rebounds in 25 appearances in the Israeli League last season. He will make his 7DAYS EuroCup debut in the 2022-23 campaign.

Warech particularly impressed for Hapoel Be'er Sheva in 2020-21, as he averaged 10.0 points per game on 37.6% three-point shooting, while he also grabbed an average of 3.0 rebounds and dished out an average of 1.1 assists. He began his career with BiG Rockets Gotha of Germany and then went on to represent MHP Riesen Ludwigsburg, Hamburg Towers and Rasta Vechta, all of which are from Germany. Warech moved to Israel in 2017 and has remained there ever since, going on to play for Maccabi Ashdod, Hapoel Be'er Sheva and Ironi Nahariya before returning to Hapoel Be'er Sheva in 2020.
