Joventut Badalona has secured the arrival of shooting guard Kyle Guy for the upcoming season, the club announced on Friday. Guy (1.88 meters, 24 years old) spent the 2021-22 campaign playing for Miami of the NBA, as well as Cleveland and Sioux Falls of the G League. He is set to make his 7DAYS EuroCup debut in 2022-23.

After starring at the University of Virginia and becoming an NCAA champion in 2019, Guy went on to play for Sacramento, Cleveland and Miami of the NBA, in addition to Stockton, Cleveland and Sioux Falls of the G League. He averaged 3.9 points on 35% shooting from three-point range in 19 NBA games for Miami last season, while with Cleveland he averaged 23.1 points, 7.4 rebounds and 4.8 assists in 14 G League matches. In six games for Sioux Falls in the G League, he averaged 15.7 points, 3.5 rebounds and 3.0 assists.
