Gran Canaria has clinched first place in Group A. It faces Umana Reyer Venice, which is fighting for a higher ranking in this group.
Keys to victory: Gran Canaria vs. Reyer

Gran Canaria leans on its big men
Gran Canaria relies on its frontcourt to make the difference in this game. Olek Balcerwoski, Artem Pustovyi and Khalifa Diop give Coach Porfi Fisac many different options to use against Mitchell Watt. Controlling the defensive boards and imposing its trademark high tempo are two of the biggest keys for Gran Canaria. The hosts only allow 10.1 offensive boards despite holding opponents to poor shooting percentages (49.4% 2FG) inside the arc. If Andrew Albicy, A.J. Slaughter and Dylan Ennis can run the floor and feel comfortable, things should be easier for the hosts.

Reyer needs to bounce back on defense
Reyer is allowing just 76.5 points per game this season, but has struggled in its last three road games. Reyer lost all three of those games, allowing 90.3 points against Valencia Basket, Frutti Extra Bursaspor and Cedevita Olimpija Ljubljana. Going back to its usual defensive standards should make Reyer more competitive on a tough court like Gran Canaria Arena. Reyer should get Michael Bramos and Stefano Tonut, its two most experienced perimeter players, involved on defense, as well as relying on Austin Daye to make the difference at power forward, using his size and ballhandling against John Shurna and Oliver Stevic.
