A familiar face is back in the BKT EuroCup with Dreamland Gran Canaria announcing the arrival of veteran swingman Sylven Landesberg on a one-year contract.
Landesberg (1.98 meters, 33 years old) became a EuroLeague champion in 2014 during the early stages of his career with Maccabi Tel Aviv, where he eventually made 95 appearances in the top continental competition. The American averaged 6.0 points and 1.6 rebounds during those games, with a career best 9.7 points per game in the 2015-16 season.
After leaving Maccabi in 2017, Landesberg averaged 17.5 points and 16.9 PIR for Turk Telekom Ankara in the 2018-19 edition of the EuroCup, before spending the last four years in China with Zhejiang Golden Bulls, Beijing Royal Fighters and Shandong Hi-Speed Kirin.
