London Lions has added size and experience to its backcourt by inking swingman Mo Soluade, the club announced on Tuesday. Soluade (1.96 meters, 26 years old) arrives from Leyma Basquet Coruña, where he averaged 7.2 points and 3.5 assists in 37 Spanish second division games last season, leading the league in steals at 1.9 per night. Just like his new team, Soluade is set to make his 7DAYS EuroCup debut with London in the upcoming 2022-23 season.

Soluade started his professional basketball career with Unicaja Malaga, playing for its development squad, Clinicas Rincon, for the best part of five seasons. He made his Turkish Airlines EuroLeague debut with Unicaja in the 2014-15 season, averaging 4.0 points in four games. Soluade has also played for Gipuzkoa Basket, San Pablo Burgos and Breogan Lugo of Spain, as well as for Legia Warszawa of Poland. He helped Breogan win the Spanish second division league title in 2021. Soluade has also been a member of the British national team.
