London Lions made another addition to the team for their upcoming 7DAYS EuroCup debut with young forward Kareem Queeley, the club announced Thursday. Queeley (1.93 meters, 21 years old) arrives from the Spanish side San Pablo Burgos where he made 13 appearance in limited minutes across the Spanish League and Basketball Champions League this past season.
That was Queeley's third season with San Pablo Burgos, and in the first two he helped the team win back-to-back BCL crowns. In those two seasons he also spent time with CB Burgos in Spanish fourth division, where he averaged 17.7 points, 8.3 rebounds and 3.5 assists during the 2020-21 campaign. Queeley grew up with Real Madrid, and played for its youth categories where in a role of a starter he helped U18 Real Madrid win the Euroleague Basketball Adidas Next Generation Tournament crown in 2019. Queeley has also been a member of Great Britain's national team. He is now set to make his EuroCup debut.
