London Lions and guard Tarik Phillip will remain together for another season, the club announced Friday. Phillip (1.90 meters, 29 years old) suffered a knee injury in the preseason that forced him to miss the entire 2022-23 EuroCup campaign. He re-joined the team for the final seven games of the British League, posting 6.0 point, 3.7 rebounds and 2.9 assists, helping the Lions win the title.
Phillip has already played two seasons in the EuroCup, having made his competition debut with Tofas Bursa in 2019-20, and played in the first part of the 2021-22 season with Umana Reyer Venice. Across his 25 EuroCup appearances he has averaged 9.5 points, 2.6 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 1.3 steals.
