7DAYS EuroCup newcomer London Lions re-signed guard Josh Ward-Hibbert, the club announced on Saturday. For Ward-Hibbert (1.95 meters, 28 years old) this will be his third season with the club. Last season he posted 5.7 points and 3.0 rebounds in British Basketball League, and 9.0 points and 4.5 rebounds in domestic Cup action. Hibert-Ward started playing basketball with Derby Trailblazers, and has also played four seasons with Leicester, before joining the Lions. Prior to his basketball career, Ward-Hibbert was into another sport – tennis – where he captured a junior Grand Slam title, winning Australian Open boys doubles tournament in 2012. Hibbert-Ward is also a member of the Great Britain's basketball 3x3 national team. This season, he will add to his impressive resume by making his EuroCup debut.
