He is set to make his EuroCup debut
London Lions keep talented Matthew Goodwin

The London Lions announced Saturday that Matthew Goodwin is staying with the club which is making a return to the BKT EuroCup in the upcoming season. Goodwin (1.88 meters, 19 years old) has spent last season with the club, and appeared in 27 games in the British League in limited fashion. He scored a total of 28 points, but shot 42.9% from long range. He also averaged 5.3 points in six British Cup games.
That was Goodwin's first full professional season. The teenager grew up with Manchester Magic, playing in their academy and for their lower division team. He made his professional debut with the Manchester Giants in the 2023-24.
Over the last three years, Goodwin has also been playing for the British national teams in youth categories. He is now set to make his EuroCup debut.
