Mihai Silvasan, Cluj: 'We stayed tough mentally'

U-BT Cluj-Napoca head coach Mihai Silvasan:
“I am very happy about this win. It’s the first away win for our team. It means a lot because it gives us a chance to qualify for the playoffs. We were a little deeper tonight with the addition of Jalen Jones. You could see that on the court in our rotations. That was a very good thing. And I think we stayed tough mentally during the game. We didn’t allow them to overcome us when they had good moments. Even if they led we knew how to play and stay in the game and find ways to get back in the lead. It was a good game for us from that point of view. We have a new team in this competition so we still have a lot of work to do. But we’ll go step by step and game by game and in each game we will fight to give ourselves chance to win.”
Cedevita Olimpija Ljubljana head coach Jurica Golemac:
"Congratulations to Cljuj. They deserved to win. They played better through the 40 minutes. We had too many ups and downs and a short rotation. This was not enough to win the game."
U-BT Cluj-Napoca center Andrija Stipanovic:
"It was very important. This game was like a deja-vu from some past games where we lost when we were up by more than 10 points. But today we were a better, tougher and smarter team, and thank god we won against a very good team."
