7DAYS EuroCup newcomer U-BT Cluj-Napoca announced on Monday that big man Andrija Stipanovic will stay with the team for at least one more season. Last season, veteran Stipanovic (2.08 meters, 35 years old) averaged 11.7 points, 4.2 rebounds, 3.9 assists and 1.1 steals in 37 Romanian League games.

This will be Stipanovic's fifth appearance in the EuroCup, as he already played with Ostende of Belgium (2013-14), Trabzonspor of Turkey (2015-16), Cedevita of Croatia (2017 to 2019) and Cedevita Olimpija Ljubljana in 2019-20. He has played a total 65 EuroCup games, for 662 points, 325 rebounds and 131 assists. Stipanovic made his pro debut with Split of Croatia in 2007 and since then he has played in Belgium, Italy, Turkey and back to Croatia until he landed in Romania to play with Cluj-Napoca in 2020. This will be his third season in the club, having lifted the Romanian League trophy in his two previous appearances.
