Nathan Sestina, Turk Telekom: 'We did what we needed to do'

Erdem Can, Turk Telekom Ankara head coach
"First of all, we only had 10 points in the third quarter and this was all [thanks to] our mistakes. In the first half, we made 14 assists and then we finished the third quarter with 0 assists, so it is impossible to play like this; it is not our game. We couldn't reflect the effort offensively from the first half to the third quarter, and then we woke up a little bit, and were able to be in our rhythm, let's say. So congratulations to my players, but we have three more very, very important games in front of us, and we want to get better every day.
"I would like to thank our fans for their great support today, from the first second until the end. Obviously, it is not possible to be successful without them, so we always want them to keep supporting us. That is going to be the first thing for us, thanks to our fans."
Ioannis Christopoulos, Promitheas Patras head coach
"First of all, congratulations to Telekom for the win. It was a tough game, I think we have to learn a lot from that. I thought we demonstrated the right personality in the second half. There is a lot of room for improvement for us. We have to move on, that's it.
"We tried hard in the second half and demonstrated a totally different face. It is a game of details and I think we did, for the most part of the second half, like I said before, a great job. We should learn and move on."
Nathan Sestina, Turk Telekom Ankara forward
"We stuck to Coach's game plan. I was able to get a lot of open shots in the first half and, hopefully, me being able to do that opened up things for other guys in the second half. As you can tell, the second half was super balanced; guys got going, Axel [Bouteille] actually got going, Tony [Taylor] and Jerian [Grant] took over in the second half, and did what we needed to do."
