At age 34, Ribas is averaging a career-high 12.1 points on good shooting percentages (65.4% 2FG, 48.3% 3FG, 81.8% FT) and 4.7 assists for a PIR average of 14.0 in less than 22 minutes per night. Flaccadori returned to Trento after a couple of seasons with FC Bayern Munich and is one of his team's leaders, averaging 10.9 points, 3.1 rebounds and 3.7 assists. Both players have high basketball IQs, so expect an interesting matchup between Ribas and Flaccadori.

Joventut welcomes Trento in Round 10

Joventut Badalona leads Group A with a 7-2 record and is on a three-game winning streak. Vladimir Brodziansky (14.6 ppg.) has been its top scorer until now, followed by Pau Ribas (12.1 ppg.) and Joel Parra (11.8 ppg.). Dolomiti Energia Trento has lost its last four games and is hoping to bounce back, led by Cameron Reynolds (14.4 ppg.), Jordan Caroline (13.9 ppg.) and Diego Flaccadori (10.9 ppg.). Earlier this season, Joventut overwhelmed Trento 56-86 in Round 1 behind 13 points each from Parra, Brodziansky and Ante Tomic.

Like with all teams coached by Zeljko Obradovic, focus and attention to detail are a must for Partizan NIS Belgrade and it can be seen in most statistical categories.

Keys to victory: Partizan vs. Hamburg 

Partizan ranks second in blocked shots (3.9 bpg.), seventh in steals (7.7 spg.), fourth in defensive rebounds (26.3 drpg.) and fourth in two-point shooting percentage (57.0% 2FG). Partizan has a size advantage in the paint with Alen Smailagic, Zach LeDay and Mathias Lessort and should make the most out of it, trying to get Maik Kostar into foul trouble. On defense, Partizan needs Aleksa Avramovic and Rodions Kurucs to play tough against Caleb Homesley.

Hamburg Towers plays at a very high rhythm - the faster and more physical, the better. It ranks third in scoring (88.0 ppg.) but boosted that number to 97.7 in its last two games and won them all. The team ranks first in three-point shots attempted (30.2) and fifth in two-points attempts (39.6), all without many turnovers, just 11.7 per game, tied for fewest in the competition. Hamburg takes a lot of risks on defense, however, allowing a EuroCup-worst 88.8 points per game. If Hamburg can dominate the game tempo and play at full speed, Coach Pedro Calles's team should have a better chance to steal a win in Belgrade.

Two of the best scorers in the 7DAYS EuroCup this season are about to test their skills against one another.

Marquee matchup: Partizan's Punter vs. Hamburg's Homesley

Kevin Punter arrived in the Serbian capital to lead Partizan NIS Belgrade and has done that since day one, averaging 18.3 points on 69.1% two-point shooting and 88.9% free throws. He ranks fifth in PIR average (21.1 per game), right after his opponent, Caleb Homesley of Hamburg Towers (23.0). Homesley comes off a stellar performance, leading Hamburg to a 94-74 home victory with 29 points, 11 rebounds, 6 assists, 3 steals and a PIR of 45. He is the second-best scorer in the competition at 21.4 points per night, having made 47.2% of his shots from beyond the arc. 

Partizan NIS Belgrade (7-2) takes on Hamburg Towers (4-5) in a Group A showdown in the Serbian capital.

Hamburg makes first visit to Belgrade 

Partizan remains undefeated at Aleksandar Nikolic Hall in this 7DAYS EuroCup season, led by Kevin Punter (18.3 ppg.), Zach LeDay (11.7 ppg., 5.1 rpg.) and Alen Smailagic (9.8 ppg., 5.9 rpg.). Hamburg is on a three-game winning streak and arrives in Belgrade in its best form. Caleb Homesley (21.4 ppg.) has been Hamburg's top scorer until now, followed by Jaylon Brown (15.0 ppg.) and Maik Kostar (12.0 ppg.). Earlier this season, Partizan outgunned Hamburg 97-106 behind 26 points from Punter. 

Umana Reyer Venice ranks second in steals this season at 9.6 per night. Reyer needs to translate that aggressiveness and intensity to other aspects of the game - offensive rebounds in particular.

Keys to victory: Reyer vs. Bourg

Reyer ranks 19th in offensive boards (8.4 orpg.), so it should power the offensive glass more effectively to be even more competitive. Reyer is fourth in turnovers (14.9 per game), so there is room for improvement in terms of focus. On defense, stopping Pierre Pelos and JaCorey Williams should be one of the keys to this game, and Reyer relies on Austin Daye and Mitchell Watt to do so. 

Mincidelice JL Bourg en Bresse leads the 2021-22 7DAYS EuroCup in three-point shooting percentage, having made 92-of-218 shots from downtown (42.2% 3FG). Players like Maxime Courby, Pelos and Calvin Harris are making more than 55.0% of their three-point shots, so Bourg should keep pulling the trigger from downtown against a very good defensive team like Reyer. Bourg has a fantastic 1.6 assists-to-turnover ratio but struggles under its own rim, ranking 18th in defensive rebounds (22.1 drpg.). Bourg needs to prevent Julyan Stone and Stefano Tonut from dominating the game tempo.

Two of the most athletic big men in the 7DAYS EuroCup are set to face each other when Umana Reyer Venice hosts Mincidelice JL Bourg en Bresse in Round 9.

Marquee matchup: Reyer's Watt vs. Bourg's Williams

Mitchell Watt comes off a double-double with 13 points and 12 rebounds against Promitheas Patras. His other double-double this season - 16 points, 12 rebounds - came against Bourg in Round 1. He is averaging 12.8 points and 6.3 rebounds in eight games. Watt should be ready for a physical battle against JaCorey Williams, who played really well (13 points and 5 rebounds) in Round 9 against Virtus Segafredo Bologna. Williams averages 8.3 points and knows Watt well, as he played for Dolomiti Energia Trento last season. 

In a pivotal showdown in Group B, Umana Reyer Venice (4-4) welcomes Mincidelice JL Bourg en Bresse (2-7) at Palasport Taliercio.

Reyer, Bourg meet in Round 10

Reyer won its last two games and wants to keep its good momentum going, led by Mitchell Watt (12.8 ppg., 6.3 rpg.), Michele Vitali (8.8 ppg.) and Stefano Tonut (9.6 ppg., 3.1 apg.). Bourg is on a three-game winning streak, but lost its last two games against Buducnost VOLI Podgorica and Virtus Segafredo Bologna by 4 and 1 point, respectively. Calvin Harris (14.5 ppg.) has been its top scorer until now, followed by Rasheed Sulaimon (12.8 ppg.) and Pierre Pelos (11.5 ppg.).
