Paris Basketball has secured the signing of T.J. Shorts, who played a vital role in Telekom Baskets Bonn winning last season's Basketball Champions League, the club announced Wednesday. Shorts (1.75 meters, 25 years old) was also named the Basketball Champions League MVP for the 2022-23 season, having averaged 19.5 points, 3.6 rebounds, 6.8 assists and 1.4 steals across 17 appearances. Shorts will make his BKT EuroCup debut next season.

Last season, Shorts helped lead the way as Bonn made it to the 2022-23 German League finals, posting 18.2 points, 3.2 rebounds, 7.2 assists and 1.3 steals in 43 games. In Paris, he will reunite with ex-Bonn head coach Tuomas Iisalo, who made the same move to the French capital this summer. Shorts is the sixth player from last year's Bonn team to follow Coach Iisalo to Paris, following Michael Kessens, Leon Kratzer, Tyson Ward, Sebastian Herrera and Collin Malcolm.
