Paris Basketball remained undefeated on the road in the 2022-23 7DAYS EuroCup by downing Slask Wroclaw 69-77 at the magnificent Centennial Hall, improving to 5-2 in the standings. Great defense led to a good road win.
Paris's defense led the way



Both teams took similar care of the ball, finishing the game with 15 assists and 11 turnovers apiece. Paris played with more aggressiveness, forcing Slask into 20 fouls and going to the line 29 times and making 20 free throws (69.0% FT). Slask only managed to draw 15 fouls, went to the free throw line just 18 times and missed 10 of its attempts (44.4% FT), which was a big key to this game.

Paris limited Slask to just 5-of-26 three-point shooting (19.2% 3FG). The visitors made 9 of 27 attempts from beyond the arc (33.3% 3FG). All that allowed Paris to finish the game with 38 defensive rebounds, the best mark for any EuroCup team this season. Axel Toupane grabbed 11 defensive boards and added 11 points for his second double-double this season. Despite getting just 4 offensive boards, Paris's defense was enough for the visitors to win the game.
