At the beginning of the 2021-22 season, Giatras was replaced by Luis Casimiro, who left the team a couple of months into the season, replaced by Ilias Zouros. When Patras was eliminated from the 7DAYS EuroCup, Zouros also left and Giatras was brought in to finish the domestic season, and now the club signed him again to hold the team's reins for 2022-23. Giatras has coached a total 26 EuroCup games so far, all with Patras. He had a 10-6 record in 2019-20 and then a 2-8 in 2020-21.
