Germani Brescia has ended its preseason on a high by downing fellow 7DAYS EuroCup team Dolomiti Energia Trento 77-71 in the Matteo Bertolazzi Memorial trophy final. It was a real team effort by Brescia, with seven players finishing with 7 points or more. The scoring leaders on the night for Brescia were Amedeo Della Valle and Troy Caupain with 11 points each. Toto Forray, Drew Crawford and Darion Atkins all ended with more than 10 points for Trento, but it was not enough.

The London Lions suffered a defeat on Sunday night, as it lost 100-82 to Cazoo Baskonia Vitoria-Gasteiz in the Alava-Araba Saria trophy on Sunday night. Tomislav Zubcic scored a team-high 16 points for London, with Devon Van Oostrum (14), Sam Dekker (11) and Luke Nelson (11) all recording more than 10 points. London has its first 7DAYS EuroCup game on October 11, with the team taking on Hapoel Tel Aviv on the road, so it will be looking to add to its opening-day win in the British League ahead of this fixture.
