Prometey Slobozhanske has completed the signing of guard Caleb Agada, the club confirmed on Saturday. Agada (1.96 meters, 27 years old) arrives from Melbourne United, where he averaged 12.0 points, 5.5 rebounds and 2.1 assists in the Australian League last season. He will play in the 7DAYS EuroCup for the first time in what is Prometey's debut season in the competition.

Agada played college ball at the University of Ottawa in Canada before starting his professional career with CB Prat of Spain. He then spent the next two years at Melilla Baloncesto, with a brief spell at Hamilton of Canada in the 2018-19 season. Agada joined Hapoel Be'er Sheva of Israel in the summer of 2020, becoming the Israeli League's top scorer in 2020-21 as he averaged 22.9 points per game. After signing for Melbourne ahead of the 2021-22 season, Agada helped his team secure the best regular season record, but it lost in the semifinals of the playoffs. He has also played for the Nigerian national team.
