Promitheas Patras made 12 three-point shots in snapping its five-game losing streak, holding off Mincidelice JL Bourg en Bresse 84-77 on Wednesday night. Promitheas improved to 3-8 in Group B.

Promitheas took the lead for good in the third quarter behind Trevis Simpson and found a way to stay in front every time Bourg rallied. Kendrick Ray and Dario Hunt scored 18 points apiece in a victory. Dimitris Agravanis collected 17 points and 8 rebounds, and Simpson finished with 17 on 5-for-6 three-point shooting. Nikolaos Gkikas dished 10 assists. JaCorey Williams shined for Bourg with 25 points on 12-for-18 two-point shooting, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Rasheed Sulaimon scored 15, and Hugo Benitez had 10 points in a defeat. Bourg dropped to 4-8 on the season, but holds the tiebreak advantage in their head-to-head games due to a 30-point win in their Round 3 contest.

Ray opened the game with a runner and a corner triple before a big dunk from Jerai Grant made it 9-2. After Maxime Courby and Agravanis traded triples, Alexandre Chassang scored from long range and close range to tie it at 12-12. A bucket from Rasheed Sulaimon put the visitors ahead, 14-15, but Simpson hit a corner three and Hunt dunked to give the hosts a 22-19 edge at the end of the first quarter.
Early in the second quarter, Sulaiman made a three-point play to put Bourg back in front, 22-24, but a pair of close-range baskets by Hunt restored the hosts' lead. Simpson nailed another triple and Hunt made it 31-24. Benitez snapped a 9-0 run by banking in a short jumper and Williams scored twice inside for the visitors, but a pair of three-pointers from Nikolaos Rogkavopoulos helped Promitheas take a 39-34 lead into halftime.
Bourg opened the second half with a 2-8 run, fueled by a three-point play from Jalen Jones and capped with a triple from Axel Julien for 41-42. Grant had another dunk for the hosts, as the teams kept trading leads before Simpson hit back-to-back threes. After a three-point play from Williams, close-range baskets from Hunt and Sulaimon made it 60-55 going into the fourth quarter.
Baskets from Simpson and Hunt opened a 64-55 margin early in the fourth, but Williams from close range and Julien from long range cut it to 64-60. Hunt traded close-range buckets with Williams and Chassang before a triple from Ray made it 71-64. Williams scored twice more inside to keep Bourg in touching distance, but Agravanis made a runner and Simpson knocked down his fifth triple for a 76-68 lead with 2:15 to go. Sulaimon had a basket-plus-foul, but Agravanis nailed another three-pointer and Promitheas was on its way to victory.
