Brown leads Hapoel to 86-100 win in Paris
After giving up 33 points in the first quarter, Hapoel set up the win by conceding just 10 points in the second quarter in a 86-100 road victory in Group B. J’Covan Brown flirted with a triple-double in tallying 21 points, 8 rebounds and 12 assists for the winners, who had four other players in double figures including Jaylen Hoard with 16 points and 9 rebounds. Tyrone Wallace scored 17 points to pace Paris, which dropped to 1-1.

Paris drained 7 three-pointers in the first quarter and built a 31-22 lead, which was 33-28 after 10 minutes. Hapoel slowed down the Paris shooters in the second quarter and reeled off a 2-11 close to the first half for a 43-55 lead.
The French side used a 12-3 spurt to get within 60-63 only to have Hapoel answer with the next 11 points and a 66-77 lead after 30 minutes. Paris had one more rally inside them in the final frame, trailing 70-83 but scoring 9 straight points to get within 79-83 only to have Hapoel push back with a 2-9 spurt.
