Mincidelice JL Bourg en Bresse picked up its second win of the season, going on the road and downing Umana Reyer Venice 73-79 on Tuesday night in Group A.

Bourg improved to 2-0 while Reyer dropped to 0-2 in the early part of the season. Isiaha Mike collected 17 points and 11 rebounds to lead Bourg. James Palmer scored 16 points and Jordan Floyd had 11 of his 15 in the second half in a victory. Mitchell Watt had 19 points and 3 blocks for Reyer, while Jayson Granger scored 15 in a losing effort.

The hosts started off hot, opening up a 12-2 lead after little more than 3 minutes played, but Bourg soon found answers. The visitors cut it to 15-12 after 10 minutes and then went in front 15-17 on a triple from Maxime Courby. The hosts answered with a 9-2 run that featured a pair of dunks from Yankuba Sima, but Bourg then scored 11 unanswered points to open a 24-28 lead. A half-court shot from Andrea Di Nicolao made it 32-30 at halftime.
Floyd got it going after the break. The Bourg guard scored 9 points to turn a 34-32 deficit into a 39-45 third-quarter lead. But Granger scored 6 points on the other end to put Reyer back in front, before Jeff Brooks and Palmer traded triples to end the quarter and make it 50-50 ahead of the final 10 minutes. In the fourth quarter, Courby netted his second triple of the night to put Bourg up for good. Back-to-back threes from Palmer opened a 59-70 lead with 3:21 to go, and even though Michael Bramos hit a triple, Bourg soon restored a double-digit lead and Frantz Massenat's baseline jumper with 34.1 seconds to go secured victory.
