“Congratulations to our guys. Today we had a great effort on defense. We improved our defense a lot in the second quarter. That was the key to winning this game... They played really well after halftime. They moved the ball and we had a lot of problems winning this game.”

“Congrats to Gran Canaria and their coach. They deserved the win. On the other hand, after a very hard trip to Gran Canaria and a tough schedule we had, we played a good game. We can talk about quarters and for sure the most important one was the second quarter when we didn’t show the aggressiveness and toughness that we showed in the second half. We could say that was the crucial moment for our team. Another thing, we had a new guy [John Holland], who didn’t have a single practice with us. We struggled with our roster and we needed to put him in the game immediately after just a couple of meetings and a walk-through. But this is our situation. We are not complaining, just stating the facts. At the end of the day, I have to be satisfied with the hustle and showing character against a very strong and good team like Gran Canaria.”
