Entering its fifth season in the EuroCup – and its third campaign in a row – Slask Wroclaw will be hoping to vastly improve on last year's 1-17 regular-season record, which was the worst in the competition. In fact, over the last two seasons, the Polish team has gone 4-30 in the EuroCup, so a major uptick is required if it is to reach the playoffs. Slask has been placed into Group B in the 2023-24 EuroCup and it will be eyeing a few big scalps during the campaign.
Round 2: Slask Wroclaw vs. U-BT Cluj-Napoca
Slask has to wait for the second round of the season to play its first game at Centennial Hall, its legendary arena. Since returning to the EuroCup in the 2021-22 season, following a 14-year absence, Slask has gone 0-17 on the road. All four of its wins over the last two campaigns have come at home, so it will be vital that the Polish team can turn Centennial Hall into a fortress in the coming season, starting with the visit of U-BT Cluj-Napoca.
