Polish League runner-up Slask Wroclaw has brought back head coach Oliver Vidin after two seasons to direct its team in the BKT EuroCup next season. Vidin, 45, had previously sat on Slask's bench between 2019 and 2021. He signed a new two-year contract this time.
Vidin, from Serbia, has been a head coach at the club level since 2008, when he spent the first of five seasons in Slovakia with Dolny Kubin. His next stop was the Finnish League with BC Nokia from 2014 to 2016, whereupon he returned to Slovakia with one of his former teams, Inter Bratislava, for three seasons, including a Slovakian League title in 2017.
During his first two years with Slask, Vidim lifted the team to a third-place finish the 2020-21 Polish League. His last stop before rejoining Slask was Zielona Gora, with whom he spent the last two seasons and won the 2022 Polish Cup.
