Last season's 7DAYS EuroCup finalists Turk Telekom Ankara bolstered its frontcourt by inking forward Markis McDuffie to a one-year deal, the club announced Monday. McDuffie (2.03 meters, 25 years old) arrives from JDA Dijon Bourgogne, where he averaged 16.9 points, 5.8 rebounds and 1.2 steals in 35 French League games last season, in which he helped his team reach the semifinals, losing against eventual champion AS Monaco.

McDuffie started his professional basketball career with Hungarian side Albe Fehervar, and also played for Gevi Napoli Basket and UCC Assigeco Piacenza before joining Dijon last summer. Before that, he finished his college career at Wichita State University, averaging 18.2 points and 5.0 rebounds in 37 NCAA games in the 2018-19 season. McDuffie is set to make his EuroCup debut with Turk Telekom in the 2023-24 campaign.
