Turk Telekom Ankara added size and experience to its perimeter by inking small forward Axel Bouteille, the club announced Friday. Bouteille (2.01 meters, 27 years old) arrives from Unicaja Malaga, where he averaged 10.0 points on 41.1% three-point shooting in 31 Spanish League games last season. He started his career with Chalon-sur-Saone and Limoges CSP of France, and also played for Spanish side Bilbao Basket before joining Unicaja in February 2020.

Bouteille brings in plenty of 7DAYS EuroCup know-how. In 51 EuroCup career games with Unicaja and Limoges, he amassed 570 points (11.2 ppg.) and 158 rebounds (3.1 rpg.). Bouteille ranks 22nd overall in three-point shooting percentage (45.3%), hitting 68-of-150 attempts from beyond the arc. He helped Chalon win the French League title in 2017. Bouteille has also been a member of the French national team.
