Turk Telekom Ankara strengthened its backcourt by inking swingman Boran Guler, the club announced Saturday. Guler (1.96 meters, 20 years old) arrives from Socar Petkimspor, where he averaged 1.6 points in 5 Turkish League games last season. He started his career with Bandirma Kirmizi and also played for Teksut Bandirma before joining Socar at the start of the 2020-21 campaign. Guler has also been a member of the Turkish U16, U17, U18 and U19 national teams. He helped Turkey win a silver medal at the 2019 U18 European Championships. Guler is set to make his 7DAYS EuroCup debut with Turk Telekom next season.
