Paris Basketball has confirmed the signing of Tyson Ward, who is now the third player from Telekom Baskets Bonn to make the move to the French capital this summer. Ward (1.98 meters, 25 years old) became a Basketball Champions League winner with Bonn last season, posting 8.1 points, 4.2 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1.1 steals in 13 games. He also averaged 10.6 points, 5.1 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 1.1 steals across 39 fixtures as Bonn reached the German League finals.

In addition to head coach Tuomas Iisalo leaving Bonn for Paris this summer, Michael Kessens and Leon Kratzer also followed the Finnish tactician by making the same move. Now, Ward is the fourth person to switch Bonn for Paris in this offseason. Ward will make his BKT EuroCup debut next season, having made his professional debut with German side Wuerzburg in the 2020-21 season and spent the last two campaigns with Bonn.
