Zugic (1.98 meters, 17 years old) arrives from Buducnost VOLI Podgorica, for whom he averaged 5.3 points over 12 EuroCup games last season. On February 22, 2019, when Buducnost was in the EuroLeague, Zugic played for 42 seconds of a road game against Zalgiris Kaunas, making him the youngest player EuroLeague player this century at 15 years and 157 days old. Zugic also played on loan to U18 Stellazzurra Rome in the 2019-20 ANGT qualifying tournament in Munich, averaging 18.3 points over four games until a loss in the title game to Real Madrid.
