ratiopharm Ulm signed power forward Josh Hawley to a two-year deal, the club announced on Wednesday. Hawley (2.01 meters, 25 years old) arrives from Romanian club CSU Craiova, where he averaged 14.8 points, 7.7 rebounds and 2.0 steals in 32 league games last season, during which he posted 11 double-doubles. Hawley posted 35 points, 11 boards and 6 steals for a PIR of 40 against eventual champion and new 7DAYS EuroCup squad, U-BT Cluj-Napoca, in April.
Hawley began his professional career during the 2020-21 season with Georgian side BC Vera. Before that he played college basketball at Tarleton State University, where Hawley finished ranked fourth all-time in scoring with 1,578 points and third in rebounds (968), steals (168) and blocks (138).
