ALBA Berlin announced on Wednesday that forward Louis Olinde will remain with the club for three more seasons. Olinde (2.05 meters, 25 years old) has been with ALBA since 2020. He averaged 8.1 points and 4.3 rebounds in 27 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague games last season and he was a starter in all but 2 of them. In his three seasons with ALBA, Olinde has helped the club win the German championship twice and the German Cup once.
Olinde, who is currently training with the German national team, is a native of Hamburg, Germany, and began playing in that club's youth system. He also played for Rist Wedel before joining Brose Bamberg in 2016 – at the age of 18. He spent four seasons there and made his EuroLeague debut with Bamberg. Olinde won the German League and the German Cup once each during his time with Bamberg.
