Real controlled things in the first half and held an 11-point halftime lead, but Bayern rallied after the break and eventually went in front. Guerschon Yabusele led Real with 21 points, and Sergio Llull was the only other Real player in double figures with 10. Augustine Rubit had 20 points and 5 assists for Bayern. However, Rubit got hot, scoring the next 7 points for the hosts, including a three-pointer, and the teams were tied at 13-13 after 10 minutes.
