Georgios Papagiannis and Moustapha Fall, among the tallest players in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague, will lock horns on Friday night in the Greek derby when Panathinaikos Athens (6-9) welcomes its arch-rival Olympiacos Piraeus (9-7) to OAKA Altion.
The two starting centers are difference-makers with their well-known strengths. The 25-year old and 2.20-meter Papagiannis was an All-EuroLeague Second Team selection last season, having led the competition in rebounding and blocks. Fall, five years older and officially 2 centimeters shorter, is in his third season in the competition. He ranks as the EuroLeague's all-time leader in two-point accuracy at 71.1%. When he gets the ball, it usually goes through the basket.
