Elie Okobo buried a deep, buzzer-beating three-pointer to help AS Monaco beat ALBA Berlin at Salle Gaston Medecin in Round 14. After a high-scoring battle, Okobo's shot ensured that Monaco edged ALBA 92-89 to go up to 10-4 in the standings. The visitors have now lost their last 11 straight and saw their record drop to 3-11.
Alpha Diallo paced Monaco with 20 points, while Jaron Blossomgame added 16, Okobo had 11 and Donatas Motiejunas and Donta Hall had 10 apiece. Monaco star Mike James faced a box-and-one defense all game long and finished with 8 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists. Tim Schneider led ALBA with 15 points. Ben Lammers, Johannes Thiemann and Maodo Lo each added 14, and Tamir Blatt got 11 in the losing effort.
