Bahcesehir College Istanbul announced a new deal with forward Goktug Bas, who re-signed his contract until the end of the 2025-26 season.
Bas (2.01 meters, 24 years old) averaged 0.6 points in five BKT EuroCup games last season, helping Bahcesehir reach the semifinals. He saw more playing time in the Turkish League, averaging 1.7 points and 1.0 rebounds in 18 games.
Bas grew up with Anadolu Efes Istanbul's youth squads and played for Turk Telekom Ankara and Samsun BSB Anakent, helping the latter win the Turkish second division title. Once in the Turkish elite, Bas averaged 11.6 points and 5.3 rebounds in 29 games. He also helped the Turkish U18 national team win a silver medal at the 2019 European Championships.
