Richard got injured midway through its team's BKT EuroCup showdown against Hapoel Bank Yahav Jerusalem. He left the game late in the first quarter. Richard immediately arrived at a hospital in Sofia, Bulgaria for a medical research, which confirmed a forearm fracture. He underwent surgery and is expected to miss the remainder of the regular season. In his sixth season with Cluj, Richard averaged 2.8 points and 1.8 assists in 4 EuroCup games. In order to show support for the team's captain, all Cluj players are set to wear Richard’s warm-up T-shirt during the team presentation before this week's EuroCup game against Umana Reyer Venezia.
