Dobric leads Zvezda past Virtus, 83-74
Zvezda beat Virtus 83-74 to improve to 5-6 in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Regular Season standings. Ognjen Dobric paced the winners with 20 points, 14 of which came in the final 13 minutes. Luca Vildoza added 16, while Luka Mitrovic and Ben Bentil each had 12. Mam Jaiteh led Virtus with 15 points. Nicolo Mannion and Jordan Mickey had 11 apiece, with Kyle Weems also contributing 10 for the guests.

Jaiteh and Mickey allowed Virtus to get out to an early 4-11 lead. Weems stepped up to make it a double-digit game, 13-23, late in the first quarter. Filip Petrusev's buzzer-beating alley-oop slam brought Zvezda within 17-23 after 10 minutes. Vildoza struck three times from downtown in the second quarter to get the hosts even closer, 33-34. Dobric buried an off-balance jumper that made Zvezda regain a 38-37 advantage. The hosts had a 42-41 lead at halftime and extended it to 56-48 on a layup by Stefan Markovic. In the third quarter, Zvezda found a go-to guy in Dobric, who boosted his team's margin to 67-55 after 30 minutes. Nothing changed after that, as Zvezda, powered by an unstoppable Dobric, improved its margin to 81-64 to seal the outcome long before the final buzzer.
