Veolia Hamburg Towers is getting ready for its second season in the 7DAYS EuroCup after reaching the eighthfinals stage in 2021-22. Hamburg plays six home games in the first 10 rounds, so the team will be determined to get off to a good start and set itself up for a better chance of securing one of the top seeds in Group B. Round 2: Home opener
The first home game of the season is always special for any team, and that will no doubt be the case for Hamburg when it welcomes Turk Telekom Ankara to the edel-optics.de Arena. While Hamburg must look to contain Dwiewa this time around, it will hope its own forward, Lukas Meisner, can use some of his own magic. Meisner had a career game in the home win over Slask, earning MVP of the Round honors, and he will be keen to put on a repeat performance.
Round 10: First game of 2023
Hamburg plays home games in back-to-back weeks on two occasions this season – first in Rounds 2 and 3, and again in Rounds 9 and 10. In the latter, Hamburg will host Buducnost VOLI Podgorica. This is not only the first game of the new calendar year, but it also marks the beginning of the second half of the regular season. In addition, Hamburg will only have three home games remaining after this one. For all the reasons above, this will be an important game for Hamburg against a tough opponent.
Round 17: The visit of Trento
