Bahcesehir College Istanbul has added a scoring punch to its backcourt by signing shooting guard Hunter Hale, the club announced on Wednesday.
Hale (1.92 meters, 28 years old) arrives from AEK Athens, where he averaged 14.6 points, 3.8 rebounds and 3.4 assists in 28 Greek League games last season. He also did well in the Basketball Champions League, averaging 15.7 points, 3.0 rebounds and 3.1 assists in 17 games to help AEK reach the semifinals.
He started his professional career with the Nelson Giants of New Zealand and also played for Borac Cacak of Serbia and Promitheas Patras of Greece before joining AEK. Hale led the 2023-24 Greek League in scoring, averaging 16.7 points in 28 games with Promitheas.
