He switches BKT EuroCup teams to stay in the competition
Besiktas adds guard Brynton Lemar

Besiktas GAIN Istanbul added EuroCup experience and physicality to its backcourt by inking Brynton Lemar, the club announced Friday.
Lemar (1.93 meters, 30 years old) arrives from Cedevita Olimpija Ljubljana, where he averaged 14.4 points on 88.6% free throws in 14 EuroCup games last season, in which he helped his team win the Slovenian double. He had 20 points on 13 of 13 free throws and a PIR of 22 in the eighthfinals against Besiktas, leading Cedevita to a 96-86 victory.
After finishing his college stint with the University of California - Davis, Lemar started his professional basketball career with Sluc Basket Nancy of France. He also played for Caen Basket and Le Mans of France, MKS Start Lubln of Poland, Soporn KC of Hungary, Gaziantep Basketball of Turkiye, Reggio Emilia of Italy, Enisey Krasnoyarsk of Russia, AEK Athens of Greece and Hapoel Bank Yahav Jerusalem of Israel before joining Cedevita in 2024.
