The big man comes off a strong season with Andorra
Cedevita adds power forward Nikos Chougkaz

Cedevita Olimpija Ljublajana added size and versatility to its frontcourt by signing power forward Nikos Chougkaz, the club announced Wednesday.
Chougkaz (2.08 meters, 24 years old) arrives from MoraBanc Andorra, where he averaged 9.5 points on 41.2% three-point shooting and 5.8 rebounds in 30 Spanish League games last season. Born in the Greek capital, he started his career with Peristeri Athens and also played for Panionios Athens, Northwestern State University, Ionikos Basketball and Panathinaikos Athens before returning to Peristeri ahead of the start of the 2023-24 campaign.
He saw limited playing time in the 2021-22 EuroLeague, averaging 1.0 points in four games with Panathinaikos. Chougkaz has also been a member of the Greek national team. He is expected to make his BKT EuroCup debut with Cedevita.
