Cluj lands experienced swingman Jeffery Taylor

U-BT Cluj-Napoca added talent and know-how to its roster by inking small forward Jeffery Taylor, the club announced Saturday.
Taylor (2.01 meters, 36 years old) arrives from Wolves Twinsbet Vilnius, where he averaged 8.1 points in 14 BKT EuroCup games last season, his third with his former club. Before he came to Wolves, Taylor had spent seven seasons with Real Madrid, with which he won the EuroLeague in 2018, reaching another Championship Game in 2022 and two more Final Fours in 2017 and 2019. He also celebrated four Spanish League championships, two Spanish Cups and the 2015 Intercontinental Cup.
Taylor began his professional career with the Charlotte Bobcats in the NBA in 2012 and spent three seasons there, with a brief stint with the Austin Spurs of the G League, before joining Real. Taylor has also been a member of the Swedish national team, leading EuroBasket 2013 in scoring (21.2 ppg.). In 22 EuroCup games with the Wolves, he averaged 9.6 points and 3.3 rebounds. He took part in 202 EuroLeague games with Real, averaging 4.6 points.
